A Tour of Artistry and Stories with Michael Kelly Blanchard
From Unionville, CT and Berklee School of Music, I met Michael Kelly Blanchard in 1995, while searching for national talent to fill our North LA Family Concert series. Nashville introduced me to "Daddy Cut my Hair", gaining national radio accolades. That began my 3-decade "love affair" with Michael's “musical stories”. He has written hundreds of “story songs” since then.

This video has Bill and Gloria Gaither remembering the visible reaction of 100+ professional “homecoming” musicians hearing Michael’s “I Love You, I Do, You Bet” for the first time - a prelude to what you might see and feel in Michael’s upcoming concerts.

The gift of art – music, poetry, painting – cannot be evaluated by concert or gallery attendance. Artistic tier-1 troubadours like Michael often enjoy the intimacy of house concerts and small venues over concert halls. His CDs and books have never been able to capture the magic you will see and feel when you get Up-Close with Michael in concert.
